How much would it cost to charge an electric bike from 0-100%?

The electric bike charging cost depends on several factors that need to be taken into account. These include battery capacity, cost per unit of electricity, efficiency of charging and charging time. Battery capacity is usually measured in kilowatt-hour (kWh) and tells us what is the maximum capacity of energy that can be stored. The efficiency of charging is the ability of the battery to convert the energy that is transferred to it, through the charging port, with minimum loss of energy. The loss of energy occurs due to imperfections in the battery and the charging port. Charging time can affect the electric bike charging cost significantly as faster charging methods such as DC charging stations are more expensive than AC charging stations.

For instance, if the battery capacity is 4 kWh, the cost per unit of electricity is INR 7 and the charging capacity is 95%, then the electric bike charging cost from 0 to 100% is:

(4 kWh * 7 per unit electricity)/0.95 = INR 33.6.
